Titania Black Currant

These have been an absolute delight — easy to grow and manage, productive with a full flavor….we make a jam preserve by simmering them with a sweetener and it keeps us healthy and happy throughout the winter. Reputed as the best black currant and we can verify that. Rust resistant.

Growing conditions: This plant does well in full sun and partial shade and tolerates a wide variety of soil types.

Size at maturity: 3-5’

Uses: A superfood as well as a good early pollinator. We use it in our alley-cropping system.
