Magness is magnificent, offspring of some of the most prized pears in America (Seckel) and Europe (Comice), developed by the USDA in mid 1900’s. Late ripening and non-gritty, Magness is very fireblight resistant and easy to grow. Overall, a stellar pear. Not a good pollinator.
