A chance seedling discovered in England in the 1800’s, Cox Orange Pippin is one of the finest antique English dessert apples, full of notes of vanilla, cherry and lemon zest. With yellow-streaked red skin, it stores well and is sweetest after being stored for a couple months. It has a unique spreading growth habit. If there is one downfall to this variety, it does tend to be more difficult to grow than others…but for the possibility to taste a Cox Orange Pippin apple…it just might be worth it!

Rootstock: M111 semi-standard
