This unique and light shade of dark red is resulting from the naturally occurring Iron Oxide present on the creek on our Farm in the foothills of Appalachia Mountains. After carefully foraging for it, I grind it on a mortal and pistil and macerated in sweet almond oil. I used Shea Butter for its deep moisturizing qualities and local, organic beeswax for an added layer of protection.
Ingredients: Sweet almond oil and iron oxide, shea butter and bees wax.
